The holy city of Haridwar also known as “Gateway to God,” and the breathtaking city, replete with temples, is a magnet for religious pilgrims from all over the globe. Religious festivals hold even further draw, and tourists can’t help but be compelled by the city’s aura of intense spirituality. Haridwar is one of the seven holiest places of the Hindus, located on the banks of River Ganges. The sheer numbers of people gathering around Har-ki-Pauri Ghat give Haridwar a chaotic but reverent feel.

Itinerary

DAY 1: Arrival at Haridwar – Barkot

Morning meets our representative at your Hotel / Airport / Railway Station. After some basic information start your journey drive to Barkot via Mussoorie, enroute if time permits visit Mussoorie Lake. Later drive straight to Barkot. Check into the hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay at Barkot.

DAY 2: Yamunotri Dham

Pleasant Early morning breakfast or packed breakfast, drive to Jankichatti/Phoolchatti & startrek from here to Yamunotri (6kms) (Either by walk or by horse or by Doli at own cost). After taking bath in Jamunabai Kund’s warm water and having “Darshan” of “Yamunaji” return to Jankichatti by trek. Later drive towards Barkot, Overnight stay at Barkot.

DAY 3: Uttarkashi

Morning after breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi. Check into the hotel arrival in Uttarkashi. Visit KashiVishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

DAY 4: Gangotri Dham

Early morning (packed breakfast) drive to Gangotri, enroute at Gangnani take a holy dip in GaramKund, further drive to Gangotri via beautiful Harsil Valley. Harsil is famous for its nature beauty and for the majestic views of the Deodar trees and mountains. On arrival at Shree Gangotri, take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges which is also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Perform Pooja and Darshan, after that relax for some time in the lovely surroundings. Later drive back to Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

DAY 5: Guptkashi

Morning after breakfast,drive to Guptkashi via Moolgarh & Lambgoan. Enroute you can see the beautiful river Mandakini at Tilwara. The Mandakiniriver comes from Kedarnath, drive alongside the river to reach GuptKashi, visit ArdhNarishwar Temple in GuptKashi. Check into the hotel arrival in Guptkashi. Overnight stay at GuptKashi.

DAY 6: Kedarnath Dham

Early Moring After breakfast today we will go to Kedarnath. To reach kedarnath you will have to option. One if by trekking and other each by air via helicopter (at you on cost) After Reaching the Kedarnath visit Kedarnath temple. Check in to the Hotel/Ashram. Visit Shankarcharya Samadhi. Dinner & overnight stay at Kedarnath.

DAY 7: Return from Kedarnath

Moring After breakfast explore nearby areas by walk at kedarnath later reach Guptkashi as per our choice by trek or helicopter. Gaurikund to Sonprayag local jeep at our on cost, get packed breakfast from hotel to start early. Horse/Pony/Palakhi is also available for trekking at Gaurikund guest can book that at own cost. At arrival check in to hotel in Gupatkashi, Dinner & overnight stay at Guptkashi.

DAY 8: Pipalkoti
Next day, after breakfast, we will start drive Pipalkoti. Reach Pipalkoti, check in hotel tea with snacks followed by dinner. And overnight stay.

DAY 9: Badrinath Dham
After breakfast, drive to badrinath, Reach Badrinath and visit Full day Badrinath Temples. And in evening back to Pipalkoti hotel, take dinner with overnight stay.

DAY 10: Departure – Haridwar

After breakfast, check out from hotel. Drive to Haridwar. Via Rishikesh En-route visit Dev Prayag Sagam & Rishikesh local sightseeing like Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, Triveni ghat and evening Haridwar Ganga Aarti. And later, drop at Railway Station/Bus Stand.

  • Optional activities or excursions not mentioned in the itinerary.
  • Airfare or transportation to/from the starting and ending points of the journey.
  • Charges incurred due to delays, rescheduling, or cancellations beyond Periyatra’s control.
  • Visa fees required for entry into different countries or regions not included in the itinerary.
  • Travel insurance, unless arranged separately by the traveler.
  • Tips and gratuities for guides, drivers, or hotel staff.
  • Meals not specified in the itinerary or meals outside of the scheduled times.

  • Terms and Conditions
    1. Booking and Payment
      • A 50% advance payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your Periyatra package.
      • The remaining 50% must be cleared before the commencement of the journey.
    2. Cancellation Policy
      • Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the travel date will receive a 75% refund.
      • Cancellations made between 15 to 30 days prior to travel will receive a 50% refund.
      • No refund will be provided for cancellations made within 14 days of the travel date.
    3. Itinerary Changes
      • In case of unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, roadblocks, or government restrictions, the itinerary may be adjusted accordingly.
      • Any additional costs arising from changes in the itinerary will be borne by the traveler.
    4. Health and Fitness
      • Participants must be in good health and physically fit to undertake the journey.
      • Travelers are advised to carry necessary medical supplies and ensure they are medically fit before undertaking the journey.
    5. Travel Documents
      • Travelers must carry a valid government-issued ID proof (Aadhar, Passport, Voter ID) for verification during the journey.
      • Any personal documents required for travel entry must be submitted on time.
    6. Accommodation and Services
      • Accommodation will be provided on a twin-sharing basis in pre-booked hotels/camps as per the itinerary.
      • Any personal expenses such as laundry, telephone calls, or optional activities will be borne by the traveler.
    7. Liability
      • Periyatra and its representatives will not be responsible for any loss, damage, theft, or personal injury during the journey.
      • Travelers are advised to have their own travel insurance covering medical emergencies and loss of belongings.
    8. Force Majeure
      • In case of natural calamities, strikes, political unrest, or any unforeseen circumstances, Periyatra packages may be altered or postponed.
      • Travelers will be informed promptly, and adjustments will be made accordingly, without any compensation for delays caused.
    9. Code of Conduct
      • Travelers must adhere to a respectful and disciplined behavior during the journey.
      • Any inappropriate behavior may lead to immediate termination of services without a refund.
    10. Photography and Media
    • The use of personal cameras or photography equipment is permitted, but travelers must obtain prior permission for professional filming or photography.
    1. Final Decision
    • The final decision regarding the smooth operation of the journey, itinerary adjustments, and services will be at the discretion of Periyatra and its tour leaders.
