A tour of Sasan Gir, also known as Gir National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary, in Gujarat, India, is a wildlife adventure that offers a chance to see Asiatic lions in their natural habitat. The park is known for its dry deciduous forests, grasslands, and wetlands.

Itinerary

Day 1: – Ahmedabad – Sasan gir
Arrive at Ahmedabad, later proceed to Sasan Gir. Sasan Gir, is the sole home of the Asiatic lions and is considered to be one of the most important protected areas in Asia due to its supported species. On arrival check-in to the hotel. Visit Gir Interpretation Zone at Devaliya (Wed Close at own cost) (enclosed area for Lions). Overnight stay at the hotel/Resort.
Day 2: Gir national park & wildlife sanctuary
Enjoy morning Jeep Safari at own cost (Total 3 shifts per day morning 6 am, 9 am & afternoon 3 pm) in the Gir forest. Look for the two big cats and get the pleasure of watching other wildlife. Visit crocodile farm or also go on a nature and bird walks. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3: Sasan gir – Diu
Today, morning take a breakfast & later check-out from the hotel & transfer to beach town Diu. Diu Island is known for its fortress and Old Portuguese Cathedral. On arrival, check-in to the hotel. Balance day at leisure to laze and relax on the beach. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4: Take pleasure in Diu
Today, morning after breakfast take a leisure to enjoy the wide variety of water sports facilities available at Nagoa Beach. Later, Visit St. Pauls Church, Diu Museum and Diu Fort, Gangeshwar Temple, Noida Caves. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5: Diu – Ahmedabad
Today, morning take a breakfast & later check-out from the hotel & transfer to Ahmedabad. At evening drop at Airport/Railway station, return Home with Happy Memories of Gujarat “Khushboo Gujarat Ki”.

Travel insurance covering medical emergencies, loss of belongings, or unforeseen circumstances.
Optional activities or excursions not mentioned in the itinerary.
Airfare or transportation to/from the starting and ending points of the journey.
Charges incurred due to delays, rescheduling, or cancellations beyond Periyatra’s control.
Visa fees required for entry into different countries or regions not included in the itinerary.
Travel insurance, unless arranged separately by the traveler.
Tips and gratuities for guides, drivers, or hotel staff.
Meals not specified in the itinerary or meals outside of the scheduled times.

Terms & Conditions

Terms and Conditions
Booking and Payment
A 50% advance payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your Periyatra package.
The remaining 50% must be cleared before the commencement of the journey.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the travel date will receive a 75% refund.
Cancellations made between 15 to 30 days prior to travel will receive a 50% refund.
No refund will be provided for cancellations made within 14 days of the travel date.
Itinerary Changes
In case of unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, roadblocks, or government restrictions, the itinerary may be adjusted accordingly.
Any additional costs arising from changes in the itinerary will be borne by the traveler.
Health and Fitness
Participants must be in good health and physically fit to undertake the journey.
Travelers are advised to carry necessary medical supplies and ensure they are medically fit before undertaking the journey.
Travel Documents
Travelers must carry a valid government-issued ID proof (Aadhar, Passport, Voter ID) for verification during the journey.
Any personal documents required for travel entry must be submitted on time.
Accommodation and Services
Accommodation will be provided on a twin-sharing basis in pre-booked hotels/camps as per the itinerary.
Any personal expenses such as laundry, telephone calls, or optional activities will be borne by the traveler.
Liability
Periyatra and its representatives will not be responsible for any loss, damage, theft, or personal injury during the journey.
Travelers are advised to have their own travel insurance covering medical emergencies and loss of belongings.
Force Majeure
In case of natural calamities, strikes, political unrest, or any unforeseen circumstances, Periyatra packages may be altered or postponed.
Travelers will be informed promptly, and adjustments will be made accordingly, without any compensation for delays caused.
Code of Conduct
Travelers must adhere to a respectful and disciplined behavior during the journey.
Any inappropriate behavior may lead to immediate termination of services without a refund.
Photography and Media
The use of personal cameras or photography equipment is permitted, but travelers must obtain prior permission for professional filming or photography.
Final Decision
The final decision regarding the smooth operation of the journey, itinerary adjustments, and services will be at the discretion of Periyatra and its tour leaders.
